Fulfilling promise made to constituents of Batu Kitang
YB Lo Khere Chiang Batu Kitang State assemblyman handed over RM200,000 to Surau Nurul Jamek in Kampung Batu Kitang today. The money was a promise made to the constituents of Batu Kitang. The funds was for improvements of the Surau including new extension of shelter roofing and construction of new toilets.

砂人联党峇都吉当区立法议员兼巴达旺市议会主席罗克强于今日为七哩大人饮食中心主持开幕礼。 他在致词时称，从今天起，七哩又增加一间大型的饮食中心，为各地的民众提供各种美食和饮料。大人饮食中心新张营业，肯定得到民众的欢迎，特地前来享用爱吃的美食及喜欢喝的饮料。 他相信七哩大人饮食中心将可以吸引更多人潮前来七哩商业区吃饭及购物，带动七哩的商业活动。 “七哩商业区地点适中，商店咖啡店、快餐店、银行林立，来自古晋、石隆门及三马拉汉的民众，特别喜欢前往七哩逛街。近年来，七哩蓬勃发展，店屋越建越多，人潮越来越多，非常适合开店做生意。我鼓励商家投资七哩商业区，开设各式各样的商店, 满足民众购物、吃饭及休闲的需求。 ” 罗克强也希望房屋发展商在七哩地区, 兴建更多共管公寓及可负担房屋, 以增加当地的人口数量。 他说，人口大幅度增加, 肯定增加更多商机,直接带动七哩地区的经济繁荣及发展, 使人民受惠。 “我对七哩地区未来的建设与发展, 充满信心, 有朝一日发展成为古晋的卫星市镇。”
卑尔骚支部协助发放一马援助金
砂人联党卑尔骚支部于2月28日协助美里内陆税收局发放第一批一马援助金固本予502名来自卑尔骚及埔奕地区的民众。 卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师表示，原本于上午11时开始发放的援助金固本，为了避免民众等候太久，因此提前在上午9时发放。由工作人员核对资料后，将援助金固本发给民众。 领取一马援助金固本的民众，分别是301人来自卑尔骚地区，201人来自埔奕。 他们由于没有银行户口，因此领取援助金固本。
