Road tar resurfacing and upgrading done at Lorong Sim Kheng Hong Selatan 2 at the request of residents there, completed today. A request was put to me during election campaign when Pending Youth Secretary, Milton Foo did door to door visit during the last State election of which he was a candidate pitted against DAP Violet Yong. Foo said he went to the site with  Penghulu Tan and Mbks Councillor Goh Tze Hui to see the progress of the upgrading of the lorong.

The Rotary Club of Kuching Central (RCKC) raised around RM210,000 in cash and kind following its Rotary Run 2017, which attracted 3,000 particpants. The funds will allow them to carry out key projects this year, including the cataract remedy or operation for low income groups in rural Sarawak in liaison with Ministry of Health’s Ophthalmology Department. SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) was recently approached by a house owner staying at Lorong 47, Jalan Stampin Baru within BDC Resettlement Scheme who requested for assistance after the house he was staying in collapsed due to structural failure. SUPP PCB is now assisting the house owner to apply for government housing assistance under the “Rumah Mesra Rakyat 1Malaysia”.
