Helping out the unfortunate
Padawan Municipal council, Lo Khere Chiang went with his councillors to visit a victim whose house was razed on Chinese new year day. Lo is also Batu Kitang State Assemblyman. Irena anak Muhak, whose house was burned on the first day of the Chinese new year, has four children. Her children are aged between 8 to 13. Lo who is also MPP Chairman, passed her a cheque and also some food stuff to help her. The victim worked as a gardener.

陈超耀巡视甘榜马利甘
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师于日前前往美里甘榜马利甘巡视，了解当地的水患问题。 该甘榜于几天前下起一场豪雨，导致水患问题。据了解，原因是没有排水道让雨水流通。 陈超耀已经通知水利灌溉局和土地与测量局跟进此事，毕竟尽管大多数木屋居民已经迁走，但还是有居民在当地居住。
Flooding in Kpg Merikan
Dato Sebastian went down to Kpg Merikan for a site inspection on the flooding problem in the area. After yesterday’s heavy rain, kpg Merikan was flooded with water due to a lack of water way to discharge the water. The DID and Land & Survey was contacted for more information and action on the issue. Most of the squatters have moved out, though there are still some who are still there. In the afternoon, the relevant authorities have helped to dig a temporary drain to discharge the water.
罗克强巡视水管爆裂问题
七哩甘榜哈志巴基C座埋置地下的大水管于大年初一（1月28日）破裂，食水供应宣告中断，该区有12户家庭受断水影响，连日来过着无水的农历年，十分不便，居民连声叫苦。 古晋水务局迟至昨日年初五才鉴定该地区水管爆裂和断水问题，巴都吉当区州议员兼巴达旺市议会主席罗克强在接获投诉后，也前往大水管爆裂现场视察了解情况和给予协助。 经过水务局和当局进行的抢修行动后，该区10户居民终于恢复水供服务，惟仍有2户人家的水供问题仍在处理当中。
Water cut due to burst pipe
Residents of Block C Kpg Haji Baki had to go without water for over the last 5 days after an underground water pipe burst. 12 families at the site were affected over the Chinese New Year holidays. Kuching Water Board have been rectifying the issue since yesterday – up to now, the 10 families have already got their water supply back. They are still in the midst of fixing and two families are still out of water supply.
