Dr Sim on reaching 51: Continue fighting for Sarawak
Local Minister, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian hit 51 today (18th Aug). His party members, friends and media turned up yesterday to celebrate his birthday at the party headquarters. When asked of his birthday wishes, he said without hesitation that he wants to do more for Sarawakians. “Medically, I have done that, given my best years in the medical field for Sarawak, now I want to fight for Sarawak as much as I can politically,” he said.

砂人联党主席兼地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤今日迎来51岁生日。 砂人联党领袖今日中午在党总部特别为他举办了一场生日会，庆祝其生日。 在场包括砂人联党副主席兼成邦江州议员拿督法兰西哈登、马拉东区州议员拿督陈冠勋、古晋支部主席拿督杨莉、巴都林当支部主席薛华东、柏拉旺支部主席丁永豪、中央组织秘书拿督曾镇江、青年团团长陈开和妇女组主席拿汀徐美丽。 古晋社区领袖也出席，与沈桂贤一起庆祝生日。
民众投诉没获得入伙纸
砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局主任叶耀星日前接获来自摩拉端房屋买家投诉他们四年前向所购买的房屋至今仍没有入伙纸。 该代表也表示因为没有入伙纸所以无法申请水电供给；另外，他们虽然无法搬入新屋但是却继续得偿还分期付款。 该代表也表示没有入伙纸对他们造成巨大的困扰皆因他们无法买卖及再融资有关产业。此外，银行及金融机构也不给予新买家贷款及低息再融资计划。 收到投诉后，砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局主任叶耀星已致函三马拉汉县议会查询该发展商是否已提交有关位于摩拉端房屋计划的入伙纸申请。 另一方面，巴达旺市议会已就Banquet Square的入伙纸申请向砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局做出回应。该回覆表示有关Banquet Square 的发展商并无向巴达旺市议会递交任何入伙纸申请，尽管买家已搬入长达8年之久。 砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局已致函砂房屋部要求该部迫使发展商早日纠正问题。因为房屋发展执照是有该部所发出。 砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局意识到此事的严重性并希望三马拉汉县议会和砂房屋部可以尽快调查以解决Banquet Square及摩拉端屋主们所面对的困扰。 人联党公共投诉局提醒如有面对相关问题之民众可前来寻求协助。经查证属实，人联党将伸出援手且尽力解决问题。任何相关事宜可联系公共投诉局016-7797688及082246999或亲临人联党总部。
SPCB helping house purchasers who have not received occupation permits
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau was recently approached by purchasers of houses constructed by a developer in the Muara Tuang area, who informed that the occupation permits to the houses they purchased some four (4) years ago have yet to be issued. Generous shop owners and individuals donated a total of 200 packets of rice to be distributed to poor families in the Batu Kitang.area.
