石隆门县议会宣誓就职仪式
砂地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤强调，全砂24个新届地方议会议员名单不会再更改。 他说，一些市县议员已经完成宣誓，他们须马上投入基层服务工作。 “名单已经不会更改，不会再提呈至内阁或州元首府，各界都应该马上投入工作之中。一昧的争吵无助于服务人民，而是充其量只是廉价宣传罢了。” 沈桂贤是于8月5日见证石隆门县议会新届县议员宣誓仪式时，发表致词。 他强调，若要真正为民服务，将应该利用现有的平台，向人民展现自己是符合资格，可以为他们服务的。 石隆门县议会新届主席为恩丁雅米，而副主席是新面孔，来自民进党的丁威廉。 包括副主席在内，民进党在石隆门县议会新届县议员阵容内共有11名代表，为代表人数最多的政党。其次是土保党9人，人联党7人以及人民党5人。 人联党的县议员分别是黄任瑞、张毓伦、陈友福、李伟理、黄文佳、温武生和佐贺纳瓦。
