Visit to SJK Chong Boon
Local Government Minister, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian visited the SJK Chong Boon on Wednesday on a working visit. Dr. Sim said the PM had given a grant of RM300,000 to the school while the CM gave RM100,000. He also added he is happy to note that almost 30 percent of the students in the school are bumiputras, a clear indication of the spirit of racial integration in Sarawak .
Deputy Prime Minister here for SUKMA
Local Government Minister, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian and his wife, Datin Enn Ong arrived at the VVIP at the Kuching International airport to welcome the Deputy Prime Minister, who was here for the SUKMA games.
New Councillors for Padawan Municipal Council (MPP)
Seventeen or 60 per cent of the 32 persons mentioned in the list of councillors for Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) yesterday, are new faces. Padawan municipal council has a new deputy from Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Batu Kawah branch chairman Dato Ahmad Ibrahim who replaces Dr Zaiedi Suhaili . Dr. Zaiedi is now a Senator. 访问沐胶崇文小学
砂地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤于27日上午访问沐胶崇文小学。 该小学虽然是华小，不过有许多土著学生就读，人数占30巴仙。 在访问过程中，沈桂贤也视察两年前由首相拿督斯里纳吉拨出的30万令吉和首席部长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿迪南沙登拨出的10万令吉予该校，所兴建的新设施。 该校耗资200万令吉的新校舍和多用途礼堂已经建竣，而在马运会开赛之前，排球队伍也来这里借用场地进行训练。
