Road resurfacing at Batu Kawa old Township
Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian went to Batu Kawa old Township to see that the roads there are being resurfaced. Dr. Sim said there are many roads neglected and there is a lot of things to be done. He said now that election are over, this is the time to work and set things right.
甘榜蓬波社区小贩市集
砂人联党巴都吉当区州议员罗克强欢庆各界参与每逢周五至周日，从上午7时至傍晚6时的甘榜蓬波（Kampung Bubok）社区小贩市集。 该市集将售卖各种种植蔬菜、野菜、本地水果、传统比达友美食和手工艺品。 罗克强说，这市集将为小贩带来额外收入，并且在更安全与舒适的地点摆卖，可吸引更多民众消费。 他表示，以往一些小贩在路旁摆卖，对于道路使用者构成不便与危险，因为有些民众会把交通停放在路旁。 “而随着社区小贩市集的成立，希望可以改变小贩的思维，在集中式地区摆摊，更卫生及安全。” 他指出，该市集大约有30名小贩参与。

砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局主任叶耀星日前接获一名来自BDC的女士要求提供法律质询及协助办理离婚手续。因该民女士的收入较低所以无法负担律师费。 砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局在此告知有需求的民众可向法律援助局求助。法律援助局隶属首相署属下法律事务所的政府机构。该局提供免费或以津贴方式协助符合该局条件及在它们工作范围内的民众。免费的法律援助将会提供给予年收入不超过RM25000或月收入不超过RM2083的民众。法律津贴将会提供给予年收入超过RM25000但低于RM30，000或月收入不超过RM2，500的民众。 砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局建议有法律问题的民众亦可向法律援助局寻求协助。该局有经验丰富的法律官员可以给予适当的指导以解决问题。 有需要的民众将会接受经济情况审核以确保政府资源不被滥用。通过审核后只需支付RM2注册费用及填写表格。提交表格后，法律援助局官员将会安排晤面以确认全部情况的细节及探讨解决方案。 法律援助局古晋办公室位于古晋新邦地加路Level 6, Bangunan Sultan Iskandar 及联络号码为082-258699. 人联党公共投诉局提醒如有面对相关问题之民众可前来寻求协助。经查证属实，人联党将伸出援手且尽力解决问题。任何相关事宜可联系公共投诉局016-7797688及082246999或亲临人联党总部。
Appointments of Mayor, Councillors
The Minister of Local government announced the list of Mayor/Chairman and Deputy Mayor/Chairman of the 24 councils all over Sarawak. The most major change is the Mayor of Miri, Yii Siew Sang who is the Pujut Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP), Chairman.
