SPCB helping out traders at Cinmuk Commercial Centre

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SPCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap who is also the SUPP nominated candidate for N.12 Kota Sentosa was recently approached by the business owners and traders at Cinmuk Commercial Centre located at 7th Mile, Penrissen Road. Helping out the unfortunate

Senior citizen  Chai Zhen Hua got a surprise visit from Padawan Chairman Lo Khere Chiang yesterday morning. Lo was in MJC yesterday when he heard about Chai’s plights and went to see him. Chai was down with a stroke and had to move around on a wheel chair. He lives alone and received RM300 monthly assistance. Lo then brought him some food and urged members of the public to assist Chai in kind. He said Chai rented room costs him RM200 monthly.


Dr Sim on education autonomy

SUPP President, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian did the ground breaking ceremony of the SJKC Stapok for the new school block. Dr. Sim said it is important that Sarawak has the education autonomy so that they can decide on their own how to plan on infrastructure, the curriculum, and the teaching resources. With that he said Sarawak education would grow for the betterment of the students.


沈桂贤:继续为尖山中公争取拨款

砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于日前为石角尖山中华公学B栋新校舍工程主持动土礼。 他强调,州政府应向联邦政府争取教育自主权,这以后就可以决定州内的教育决策,包括硬体设施建设、课外活动等等。 他也表示,本身会继续向政府申请拨款,以协助尖山中公的发展建设工作。 他说,本身早在去年已为该校争取到50万令吉的联邦拨款,以及趣味骑脚车运动也成功筹到7万2000令吉。 另一方面,沈桂贤表示虽然尖山中公的学生只有区区300人,但土著占大部分,证明华校教育不仅是为华裔,同时也为其他族群。
