Visiting party’s past President
SUPP Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian paid a visit to former party President, Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Wong Soon Kai, at his residence yesterday. Dr. Sim said he missed Dr. Wong’s 90th birthday a day before and wished him many happy returns.
CNY walkabout in Sri Aman
SUPP President, Senator DAtuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian, went on a Chinese New Year walkabout to shop owners in Sri Aman area, together with Datuk Francis Harden recently .
Sharing CNY joy among difference races and religion
SUPP President, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian celebrated Chinese New Year Open House of Simanggang Soon Heng Association as well as the launching of Pesta Chap Goh Mai – a community event which has been organised by the association for the last 122 years of sharing and bringing all the different races and religions together. Dr. Sim said this is what Sarawak is all about, being together despite their different races and religion.
SPCB helping out in land dispute
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SPCB) was recently approached by a landowner at Sungai Moyan, Batu Kawa area, who complained that the adjacent landowner who owned a parcel of land in front of the complainant’s land have now refused to allow him a right of way to his land even though he has been using the road access over his neighbour’s land for a long time.
