Kenyalang commercial centre murals
President of SUPP, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian and Secretary General, Dato’ Sebastian Ting, were seen admiring the 3D mural in Kenyalang commercial centre put up by local artists recently. SUPP is one of the organisers of the mural in Kenyalang.
SUPP Sentosa branch helping out flood victims
SUPP Sentosa branch Chairman, Lo Khere Chiang, thanked the people for their generosity in collecting relief items for flood victims recently. He said the people in Sentosa has come out with household items, kitchen utensils, and foodstuffs to help out the flood victims. Despite the short notice, Lo said a lot of people had come forward to show their generosity, concern and love for fellow Malaysians.
SUPP assistance at Tudan Desaras
SUPP Secretary General, Dato’ Sebastian Ting, Publicity Chief, Adam Yii, Daniel Along and family visited the Ketua Kaum Lenggu and his people at Tudan Desaras recently, where 62 families from kampung Merikan have been given lots to relocate from their present site at Kampung Merikan. Most of them has started to clear the area and are getting ready to move to this site. 圣淘沙支部收集民众报效赈灾物品
砂拉越人民联合党圣淘沙支部的干部和党务工作者, 日前上午在七哩新店(七哩分部楼下停车场) 收集由热忱的党员和民众报效的赈灾物品。 从前天的实地场面看来, 七哩民众的慈善心怀是值得赞美和发扬的道德；虽然只有短暂的半个上午时间, 却还是收到大批(一中型罗哩) 的成人及儿童旧衣服, 家庭用品，厨房器具和食品。 哥打圣淘沙支部兼巴达旺市议会主席罗克强接受访时说：我感到很开怀满意我们支部及属下七哩分部的干部党员的精诚合作, 把这次收集赈灾品的工作做得很令人满意和鼓舞, 我也希望往后的党务工作会做得好上加好。 同时我更对七哩区的党员和民众的慈善为怀, 而体现出来对众多灾黎的爱心, 感到无比的敬佩并致于最衷心的感激和谢意。总的说来, 该赈灾物品的工作是园满合作，只是时间较为仓促, 如果有充份时间给群众安排, 可能取得更佳效果, 并且在场的许多党员群众，更希望七哩分部应该恢复以往的优良传统，重新活跃起来，赶上时代前进的列车。
