党中央向联邦社团注册局投诉联民党名字相似
砂人联党已在7月19日，向联邦社团注册局投诉联民党的名字与该党相似。 砂人联党中央组织秘书拿督叶金来于哥打圣淘沙支部第4届党员大会上致词时披露，前诗巫支部主席拿督斯里黄顺舸刚成立的联民党，名称与砂人联党相似，因此，党中央决定向联邦社团注册局投诉，并保留司法检讨权。 他说，根据条例，新党的名字不能与原有的政党名字过于相似，以免产生混淆。 “政治变化莫测，7月17日黄顺舸及其3位州议员宣布筹备新政党联民党（UPP），己在7月14日被社团注册局批准成立，并将在8月16日召开第一次会议。” 他相信，黄顺舸将在该党第一次会议，当选联民党主席。 “砂人联党中央坚持，该党名称与党极相似，因此决定向社团注册局投诉，并保留司法检讨权。”
罗克强担任哥打圣淘沙支部主席

New Chairman of SUPP Sentosa
SUPP Sentosa has a new Chairman, Lo Khere Chiang who is also Padawan Municipal council Chairman. In a meeting held yesterday, Lo was elected in as Chairman to replace Datuk Alfred Yap, who is appointed as a permanent honorary chairman. Meanwhile, SUPP had made a complaint to the Registrar of Society expressing their displeasure on the party registered by expelled Dato’ Sri Wong Soon Koh party, the United People’s Party. More support for Amy Tnay
SUPP Kota Sentosa branch women section issued a statement strongly supporting their stand behind Central Woman Section, Amy Tnay Li Ping to continue to lead them. Tnay was elected out of her Kuching branch chairman two weeks ago but there was a call for her to continue from a number of branches from the south to the north. Sentosa branch said Amy had shown her good performance the last three years and she should be voted in to continue with her job.
Hari Raya visit
Thousands thronged the BCCK this morning where the Chief Minister, Tan Sri Adenan Satem and his wife, Puan Sri Jamilah Anu welcomed VVIP and members of the public to their Hari Raya open house. Tan Sri Peter Chin, President of SUPP also led the SUPP CWC members for the visit. Also at the Open House were leaders from SPDP and PRS.
