泗里街支部妇女组举办组员子女学优奖励金颁发仪式及元旦联欢会
砂人联党泗里街支部妇女组主席甲必丹胡淑娥促请党同志们要站稳立场，因为前面还有路要走，不要灰心失望，只要真诚为人民服务，必能赢回民心，夺回国州议席。 她说，2011年州选时，泗里街支部失了州议员及助理部长；去年505大选又失去了国会议席。现在感觉上是缺少了一些什么。 “回顾过去，有国州议员时，大家总觉得比较温馨。” 胡淑娥是于1月1日下午，砂人联党泗里街支部妇女组举办的组员子女学优奖励金颁发仪式及元旦联欢会上发表谈话时，这么表示。 她说，该支部妇女组30多年不间断地举办颁发学优奖励金，借此鼓励组员子女努力向学，身为父母，严厉督导子女们学业，能够领取奖励金，成绩受到肯定，希望子女们要继续努力，考取更佳的成绩。 “子女要懂得尊敬长辈，也要抽出时间在家帮忙父母处理家务。父母们都把最好的留给子女，子女们要懂得感恩。” 她也促请妇女们要关注国家的政治动向，在出现通货膨胀时，要懂节俭，节省开销，而孩子们也要体谅父母，不要要求穿着要名牌货。

President of SUPP, Tan Sri Peter Chin believed that the Registrar of Society (ROS) would not de–register SUPP should there really be irregularities in two branches, Bekenu and Piasau. Chin in a press conference at SUPP Headquarters Miri, urged party leaders to stop making harmful statements that would affect unity and made a mockery of the party by washing dirty linen in public. Chin said SUPP chairman Dato’ Sri Wong Soon Koh should instead sit down with party leaders to sort things out instead of airing dirty linen in public.Read More
